How to convert JPG to PDF

Converting an image to PDF wraps the photo in a document container that every office, portal, and printer accepts. The work happens in your browser: the image is decoded, embedded into a page, and handed straight back. Nothing is uploaded, which matters for exactly the documents that tend to end up as PDFs — IDs, signed forms, receipts, and scans.

Page size is the only real decision. Fit image gives each page the exact shape of its photo, which is what you want when the PDF is just a delivery wrapper. A4 and Letter centre the image on a standard sheet with half-inch margins, which is what you want if anyone will print it or file it alongside other paperwork. Landscape photos get landscape pages automatically on both, so nothing is rotated or squeezed to fit.

Convert PNG, HEIC, and photos to PDF

The same steps work for any image. Drop in PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, or HEIC files — mixed formats in one batch are fine.

Every image is embedded as JPEG at quality 92, which is visually indistinguishable at reading size and usually produces a far smaller document than embedding PNGs would. Dedicated pages cover the common starting points: PNG to PDF and HEIC to PDF, the latter being the direct route for iPhone photos that would otherwise need converting twice.

One caveat for graphics: a PDF page is opaque, so transparency in a PNG or WebP is placed on white. If the transparency itself is the point, keep the file as PNG instead of wrapping it in a document.

Combine multiple images into one PDF

Drop as many images as you like and they merge into a single PDF, one page each, ordered by the filmstrip along the bottom of the studio.

This is the normal case rather than a special mode, which is worth saying because most converters make you merge as a second step. Page order follows the filmstrip, so drag thumbnails to reorder before converting, and remove any image you do not want with the × on its thumbnail. A multi-page scan of a contract or a set of receipts for an expense claim becomes one document in one pass.
